Éditions de la Villette, founded in 1980, is the only academic publisher in France whose list is exclusively devoted to architecture, urban studies, planning, landscape or art. Our approach to these themes may be cultural, social, technical or aesthetic. Our readers are academics or professionals, as well as an informed public keen to know more about their urban environment. éditions de la Villette publish mostly essays, reference works often previously unpublished in the French language and books whose aim is didactic.
