Exciting Services and Benefits for 2026 TIBE Rights Table Participants

Dear Friends,

We truly appreciate the participation and continued support from international publishers, literary agents, and rights professionals who have already registered for the 2026 Taipei International Book Exhibition (TIBE) — and for those still considering joining us to reconnect with industry friends in Taipei.

To accommodate ongoing requests, the Rights Table Reservation deadline has been extended to Friday, November 7.

Please note that this year two types of tables are available for selection:

  • Premium Rights Table (with walls) – limited quantity remaining.
Recommended for agencies or publishers seeking a semi-private meeting space.
  • Regular Rights Table – standard open meeting table.

After completing your registration in the English online system, please reply to the confirmation email from the contact person to specify which table type you preferThis information will help us calculate the correct invoice amount and finalize table assignments.

NEW!!!

Below are the latest updates and benefits for overseas rights table participants.

  1. Shared Storage Area

Opening Hours: Same as Rights Center operating hours
Location: Common area inside the Rights Center

A shared storage area will be set up within the Rights Center for participants to temporarily place sample books, catalogues, or meeting materials between sessions.

If you are not using consecutive slots, feel free to use this area to keep your materials without carrying them around.

After finishing all your meetings, you are welcome to donate sample copies for Taiwan’s public libraries by leaving them on the shared shelves and notifying the staff.

Please note that this is a public open space frequently used by visitors — valuable items should be kept with you. We recommend labeling your belongings clearly and retrieving them within Rights Center operating hours.

  1. Book Handling Service for Overseas Participants

Eligibility: Rights table users booking 4 sessions or more (or at least 2 full days)

To make preparations easier for international participants, the Taipei Book Fair Foundation will offer a book handling service — a central receiving and forwarding arrangement for your meeting materials in Taiwan.

Procedure:

  • In late November, the Foundation will contact eligible participants with details including:
    • Delivery deadline and accepted contents
    • Recipient address and contact information
  • Please send your materials (sample books, catalogues, name cards, etc.) to the Foundation by the designated deadline at your own shipping cost.
  • Once received, the Foundation will confirm by email and place the materials at your assigned rights table storage compartment prior to your first meeting.
(From the second meeting onward, materials should be managed and displayed by participants themselves.)

  1. Exhibitor and Professional Passes

Rights table users are considered exhibitors of the Taipei International Book Exhibition and will be listed in the Official Exhibitor Catalogue.

Each rights table participant may receive up to 4 Exhibitor Passes, depending on the number of users. Additional team members (from the 5th person onward) will receive Professional Passes.

Exhibitor Pass

  • Grants unlimited six-day access to the exhibition halls.
  • Entry hours:
    • Feb 3 (Tue): from 9:00 AM
    • Feb 4–8 (Wed–Sun): from 9:30 AM

Professional Pass

  • Grants six-day unlimited access for industry professionals.
  • Entry hours: 10:00 AM daily (Feb 3–8), same as general visitors.

Please note: The registration and collection procedures for Exhibitor Passes and Professional Passes for Rights Center users will follow the Rights Center’s own announcements and instructions.

These passes are managed separately from the general exhibitor and professional registration system of the main exhibition halls and cannot be duplicated or reissued through the general system.

For access control purposes, badges for rights table participants will include a special Rights Center mark, allowing quick identification when entering or leaving the Rights Center area.
